Spring Workshops

The NCPMA is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring a series of 2-part workshops. The morning session will be on the NC Floodplain Mapping Program, and the afternoon session will be on Metadata. The workshops will run from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The location for the Wilmington workshops has been moved from the Cape Fear Museum to the New Hanover County Public Library Main Branch in order to provide for Internet access for presenters. We apologize for any inconvenience.

From I-40 take the Business US 17 or Market Street Exit, at the stop light turn left on to Market St. heading toward the Downtown area, at 3rd Street turn right and go 2 blocks north to stoplight at Chestnut St, turn left onto Chestnut Street and Library will be on the right. Continue to 2nd Street and turn right, go just past the Library to the parking deck beside it and go in the left side entrance and get a ticket as you go in the parking deck. Bring the ticket with you into the Library and we will validate your ticket so there will be no charge for parking. Take the Third Floor entrance to the Library from the Parking Deck and the workshop will be in the New Hanover Room.

From US 421 or US 74 & 76 & 17 take the Memorial Bridge across the Cape Fear River, at the first stop light off the Bridge turn left on 3rd Street, go north to the stop light at Chestnut St, turn left onto Chestnut Street and Library will be on the right. Continue to 2nd Street and turn right, go just past the Library to the parking deck beside it and go in the left side entrance, get a ticket as you go in the parking deck. Bring the ticket with you into the Library and we will validate your ticket so there will be no charge for parking.
